Caledon Dressage Year End 2nd Level Champion!

by Lori Albrough

What a fun end to the show season to find out that my Fjord Ooruk and I were awarded the Caledon Dressage Year End Champion in the Second Level Open division! Woo Hoo!

Today was the awards banquet, and here I am receiving my totally huge Champion ribbon and prizes from show organizer Andrew Woodley. I think the rosette on this big beauty is larger than my face πŸ™‚

Caledon Dressage rocks it in the prizes department and today I also received a beautiful new white saddle pad embellished with subtle silver braided edging and the Caledon Dressage logo, and a useful carry bag for bringing my collection of saddle pads to shows.

With my coach Summer McEwan and the BIG Ribbon :)

Showing is totally a team effort and a thousand thanks go to my coach Summer McEwan and my husband Stefan Vorkoetter, who is my steadfast helper and supporter.

At the banquet, Summer pointed out that Ooruk and I are ahead on points for Second Level Open in all the CADORAs in Ontario! Wow, we really did have a good year! πŸ™‚ For those outside of Canada I’ll fill you in, CADORA stands for CAnadian Dressage Owner’s and Rider’s Association.
