Praise ♥
Although I had bred and ridden warmbloods for a number of years, I felt that as I had become older (and less brave) I might feel safer on a smaller, quieter horse. I ended up buying a handsome and smart young gelding called Einar from Lori, and left him with Lori to start under saddle which she did in a logical, progressive manner.
Lori has been kind, honest and professional in all respects and Einar has been wonderful — affectionate, athletic and willing to please.

Born Broke?
The Fjordhorse has a calm temperament, is intelligent, tractable, and very very trainable. But, born broke? Simply not true!
The Fjordhorse is still a horse, and all horses need training. To let anyone tell you different is not safe and it's just not fair to the animal.
At Bluebird Lane all of our horses are trained by Lori. Training begins at birth and continues with age-appropriate training for all. Our horses are handled daily, and taught to be mannerly, attentive, and responsive.

hello: I was looking for a gelding fjord that will be ridden English and
like to go to the beach. Going through water is very important as we live
on Cape Cod. The best age would be around 7years old and have a great
personality!! There are two horses next to our property but he would be
in a private barn and pasture on our property. Any ideas?
